Welcome to our group. This page and this blog is a place of encouragement. If you have lost a child, the road can be sad and lonely. You are not alone.

A New Road began in 2017 as a support group for parents who have lost a child. We get it. We know it's hard...we have all been there. After months of meetings, our group decided it's time to reach out to others - because we know there are many folks beyond our little town that need a shoulder to cry on, need a good word, or just need to vent their frustrations with the fact that their child is gone.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

We hope that reading our blogs--whether it's notes from our meetings, or just thoughts we share--will help you along your journey. When you're ready, we'd love for you to join us. If you can come to a meeting great. If you're too far away, that's okay. Feel free to call any of us, or contact us through the form on the page. Also, we'd love to know who is reading, and any comments you may have. We welcome you to post your comments on our blogs. Of course...some of you may not be ready yet. And that's okay.

Truth is, we all have a story to tell. The Bible tells us that no tear goes unnoticed, and we also believe that everything happens for a reason and GOD can use your situation for good. We hope sharing our stories will help others...we truly want to be here for you.
